Bernard Purdie And Beatles Proximity

Bernard "Pretty" Purdie is one of the great session drummers.  He has a long list of impressive credits, but I think my favorite Purdie recording right now is this instructional video excerpt:

Unfortunately, a lot of people identify Purdie primarily with having said that he is the drummer on twenty-one early Beatles tracks. That may be implausible, but he is just one step away from each member of the Beatles.
